Can you share why the books cost what they do? Can't we do it ourselves?

Yes, of course you can do it yourself too! For most parents, it is such a daunting process of decluttering artwork and curating a keepsake book. The very first attempt at compiling DIY art book would set you back 45 hours or so. 😫 And guess what, most of the time parents won’t even kickstart the project at all 🤷🏻‍♀️ & the artwork continues to pile up simply because kids won’t stop creating. 🎨 That whole process sounds like a mouthful but it is really time consuming and not to mention, the outcome may not turn out seamless. 


Lots of time and meticulous care behind the scenes goes into producing every single Memory Vault keepsake book! Our creative team (a designer will be assigned to you and work on the book 1-1 with you, it’s all about personified touch here at Artispique) digitises all your precious keepsakes in our studio using professional equipment to properly light and photograph or scan each piece of keepsake/ masterpiece to look just like the original.

Our designers will then colour correct and crop, touch up creases *(if you have opted for Detailed Restoration) and put each Memory Vault together in the best possible layout. After which, our Customer Experience Team works with every client to ensure that the final book proof is perfect to go for print.

Are these keepsake books high quality?

We take great pride in preserving your artwork and have recently upgraded our hardcover keepsake books in archival quality form - 240gsm Textured Linen Paper, standard binding with protective glossy or matte finish wrapped around the cover spread. 


The premium matte pages not only retain vivid colours with sharp details, they boast delicate linen-look texture and elevates your artwork! They really do last for years to come!

  

What type and size of artwork do you accept?

Option 1

For 2D artwork up to A4 size only

** Kindly take note that any 3D artwork and/ or exceed 35x28.5cm will be rejected.

 

Option 2 (+$40)

For 3D / 2D artwork up to the size of the box

You may include anything as long as they can fit nicely in the collection box (53 x 40 x 12cm) – from your child’s first handwriting/ scribbles to artwork to 3D creations, precious photographs to award certificates to recipes. Typically any keepsakes you wish to digitise and fit in the box, send them our way! 

** Kindly take note that other forms of packaging will be rejected. Email us at team@artispique.com to request for an extra box. Additional collection boxes are chargeable at $5 per box and $6 for courier.

 

 

How do I pack my artwork into the Art Collection Envelope/ Box?

Your art collection envelope/ box comes with a starter kit - guideline on collating your art pieces, fragile label stickers, and Collection Airway Bill. 

We recommend not folding your art pieces. Roll it gently and secure it with a rubber band or bubble wrap provided (for box option only). After collating the art work, remember to seal / tape the envelope or box to secure it, adhere the airway bill, fragile labels and hand the art collection package to our trusted courier partner on the date that you've selected.

All you need to do after is sit tight (feeling guilt free) while we work on curating your anticipated Memory Vault! 😌

 

I don't think that all my artwork can fit in the collection box provided. Should I increase the quantity of boxes at the check out?

No, if you feel that your artwork is unable to fit into the box, please do not order 2 boxes at check out. It would mean that you will be ordering two Memory Vaults. Refunds will not be allowed once orders are made. Instead, email us at team@artispique.com to request for an extra box. Additional collection boxes are chargeable at $5 per box and $6 for courier. 

Kindly note that other forms of packaging will be rejected and subjected to surcharge. Please reach us via DM on our Instagram (@artispique) or email us at team@artispique.com for us to advise on the next steps.

 

Can I opt out of the envelope or collection box option if I self-deliver the artwork myself? My artwork is too big.

No, we do not accept artwork drop off. The art collection envelope/ box cost includes the dedicated time and effort required to digitise large & bulky artwork. 


Is there any way for me to have the bulky 3D craftwork / large artwork digitised by any chance, please?

We hear you! 🥲 Our team will open up limited slots (first come first served basis) every month for extra bulky 3D craftwork / large artwork collection. Priority will be given to clients who opt for their artwork to be discarded & recycled. 

Kindly take note that all self drop offs are strictly not allowed.

You may email us at team@artispique.com and should the slot be available, we will arrange for your 60 x 51 x 25 cm large collection box (+$65). If your artwork exceeds the box dimension, we will advise on how to snap proper shots of the artwork in natural lit environment.

 

Can I change the date of pick up for my art collection envelope/ box?

Do take note that if you are unable to meet the collection date, kindly inform us via team@artispique.com at least 3 working days in advance to prevent additional shipping costs being incurred. The additional shipping costs will be borne by you. Collection can be delayed up to one year from date of purchase.

If I order now, how soon do I have to send back my Artispique Art Collection envelope/ box?

You may select a date at least 2 weeks from the date when you are ordering your Memory Vault. It will either be the following Monday, Tuesday or Saturday after the envelope/ box is delivered to you. Do take note that if you are unable to meet the envelope/ box collection date, kindly inform us via team@artispique.com at least 3 working days in advance to prevent additional shipping costs being incurred. The additional shipping costs will be borne by you.


For Memory Vaults ordered at promotional prices not limited to referral promo code, pop up event prices, boxes / envelopes have to be collected within 3 months from date of purchase. Thereafter, it will be reverted back to the original price. Box collection can be delayed up to one year from date of purchase.

Can I still opt for return of artwork after your team has begun the digitisation precess?

Most likely, it’s a no. We will not be able to accede to that request as we may have escorted your masterpieces to art heaven already. But! You may try your luck and check with our creative team if you’re able to retrieve it via team@artispique.com. 🥲

 

Can I self collect my return of artwork along with the book when it’s ready?

No, we do not accept self collection/ pick ups/ deliveries. 

 

What if I want my materials in a specific order, chronological or otherwise?

If you would like your pieces to appear in a specific order in your book, you must clearly number the BACK of each piece lightly in pencil. Any rearrangement on the order of pieces after your art book has been designed will result in an additional redesign fee (starting from $25 per hour).

 

Does each piece of artwork get its own page?

Our creative team will work with 1:1 ratio for the artwork to shine on its own in a full page or sometimes, a collage of the matching artwork (based on the theme) for a seamless look. For 3D pieces, we take several angle shots to bring the craftwork to life on the book spread. Please email team@artispique.com to let us know your preference in details if any. Rest assured, our creative team will do their best! 

 

I realised that I have more artwork to include instead of the amount I have selected during check out. What should I do?

No worries at all, as long as they can fit within the collection box, please feel free to include them. We will count all artwork that are submitted to us and let you know of the final cost.

Any artwork submitted beyond the selected number will be charged at $4 or $6 per piece of artwork, depending on whether you have selected for additional restoration works.

Removal of any artwork after submission will not reduce the cost of your Memory Vault.

A final bill will be sent to you should there be any additional artwork submitted and/or captions and/or chapters added.

 

For the Premium Cover, do I submit 3 additional pieces of artwork on top of the art count range that I have selected? For e.g. 20-29 pieces + 3 pieces?

No, these 3 pieces of artwork are not additional pieces as they are accounted for in the art submission. These artwork will still be featured on the inner pages in the book.

 

May I add photos or text/captions to my book?

Definitely. Kindly take note that the chapters can be added at $3 each, titles and captions to the artwork can be added at $1 each. Please include the text/ captions on a note (clipped to the materials) or email your text/ captions to team@artispique.com. Each caption cannot exceed 90 characters due to the placement of artwork. 

 

If you would like to add multiple photos to your book, they will be counted as per pieces of artwork. Kindly send in your digital photographs (of at least 2MB file size each) to team@artispique.com to be curated with your art pieces.

 

What if I do not have enough art pieces? Can your team hold onto my artwork first until I collate enough art pieces?

If you do not have at least 20 pieces of artwork, kindly send in your soft copy artwork (of at least 2MB file size each) to team@artispique.com to be curated with your art pieces.

 
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate to holding onto your current artwork stash until you have enough art pieces. We seek your kind understanding.

How do I add digital files/ photos?

You can add in soft copy photographs (of at least 2MB file size each) to team@artispique.com to be part of the artwork submission.

Do I get to review my book proof before print?

Absolutely! Our team will email you the first book draft for review, please do keep a lookout for the email. Slow response will result in delay of finalising your Memory Vault curation. 

You agree that it is your responsibility to review and check all your product's design for the following issues before approving the book proofs:

  1. Text issues: Spelling mistakes, grammar, unfinished text, missing text, hidden text, overlapping text, text in the gutter/binding area, text too close to the trim zone and text not within the safe zone area.

  2. Photo/ Art work issues: Photo/ art work arrangement, overlapping photos, faces in the photo in the gutter/binding area, faces in the photo too close to the trim line, faces in the photo not within the safe zone area, background not extended until the end of the page and any photo editing that was done to the photos.

  3. Design/creative issues: Design layout, style, colour choices, use of masks and scrapbooks, and other design elements imported into and/or edited.

  4. Any other creative choices you made while sending your feedback on your book.

  5. Any other creative choices you made while approving your book.

 

Can I submit additional artwork after the book proof?

Yes, just let us know via team@artispique.com for the arrangement of art work collection (+$6) and we will send you the airway bill to print out for our trusted courier partner to pick up your artwork. Your additional artwork must be well-packed in the appropriate packaging according to the size of your initial art collection pack / box dimension that you have chosen. Should the artwork size exceeds the dimension, we will bill you the surcharge fees. 

You have up to a month from the date that you have received your first book proof for review to send us additional artwork. 

Thereafter, we will proceed with finalising the book curation and send it for print.

How do I order duplicate books at 50% off?

Duplicate books are brilliant ideas for gifting extended family & the grandparents will definitely treasure them! Duplicate book goes for 50% off the total book price and 2nd, 3rd, etc. duplicate book goes for 60% off each. However, 60% off offer is valid only for 1 month from the date of Book Print Confirmation. 

 

You may add in as a comment at the check out page when you order through our website that you will like to have duplicate copies. Else, you can let us know how many duplicates you may like in our email on the book proof (approximately 4 weeks after we receive your collection box). 

If you would like to order the duplicate books only after you receive your Memory Vault, do email us at orders@artispique.com. Please note that shipping will be charged accordingly at $6 per batch.

 

I have a problem with my Memory Vault. Can I return/ get a refund for it?

Artispique endeavours to ensure that every Memory Vault that goes out of our door is of the highest quality, hence we offer all first time customers - 100% First Purchase Guarantee within 30 days after receiving Your Memory Vault(s).

As a homegrown company in Singapore, we stand behind every Memory Vault we curate. If your products fail to live up to your standards, you may return it for a replacement (of equivalent value) or refund or for good - no questions asked! 

Do take note that Artispique is not responsible for any errors as mentioned in submissions under Terms and Conditions. Please be sure to review your book proof carefully via email sent by our team before Your Memory Vault is sent for print.

 

For existing customer's orders, please contact us via orders@artispique.com within 1 day after receiving Your Memory Vault(s) if there are any issues. 

 

If no such claims are made during the stipulated time frame, we will assume that you’ve acknowledged that Your Memory Vault(s) you have received is in good condition and that all the specifications had been met. Artispique will not be held responsible for defect reports that have been sent in later than the given duration.

 

I have entered the Promo Code, why is it not reflected in the check out page?

First things first, our sincere apologies that there's a minor glitch. We appreciate your patience. Kindly drop us an email at orders@artispique.com and we will respond to you as soon as we can. 

For Memory Vault orders at promotional prices not limited to referral promo code, pop up event prices, art collection boxes have to be collected within 3 months from date of purchase. Thereafter, it will revert back to the original price. Art Envelope / box collection can be delayed up to one year from date of purchase.

 

How long does it take to receive my Memory Vault?

Our regular timeline is about 4-6 weeks once we receive your collection box at our studio. Once your collection box reaches our studio, it takes approximately 3-4 weeks to receive your book proof. After we receive approval of your proof, it takes 2-3 weeks to print and deliver your book. We encourage our clients to respond promptly to our emails (sometimes, it may land in your junk folder 😣 to prevent delay in your Memory Vault production.

However, processing time can vary due to volume of orders and shipping delays especially during the peak period like school holidays and/ or Public Holidays. For an updated timeline and more info on the status of your order – please email us at team@artispique.com.

Rush delivery is available, please contact us at team@artispique.com if you need your book by a certain date.

 

What are the delivery costs?

For orders above $100, Artispique absorbs all delivery costs of sending down our art collection pack, pick up of our art collection pack, and the doorstep delivery of your Memory Vault book. There will be a $15 return fee if you have opted for the return of your artwork in the Art Submission Form. For orders below $100, there will be a flat shipping fee of $6.

 

Important: Do take note that if you are unable to meet the art collection date, kindly inform us via team@artispique.com at least 3 working days in advance to prevent additional shipping costs being incurred. The additional shipping costs will be borne by you.

 

Do you ship internationally?

We are truly humbled by our potential international clientele's great interests! 🤗

Finally, we are offering our keepsake collection to WORLDWIDE! 🌍 ⭐. 

With our international friends, we have to shake up the process a little bit. Instead of receiving art collection envelope/ box & starter kit, you will be sending your artwork to us instead — preferably with tracking info so we can keep an eye out for it.
We highly recommend to send the flatter, lighter pieces for obvious reasons — to not incur excessive shipping costs.
For 3D craftwork, we will guide you on capturing shots of the craftwork from different angles and have you send us the high resolution images for our creative team to work their magic on.
Thereafter, you will receive digital book draft for review before we send it for print. Once the book is ready, we will mail it your way. (Shipping fees will apply)
